The Andersons, Inc. today announced it has submitted the appropriate requests for an air permit in preparation for a potential ethanol plant to be constructed in Crestline, Ohio.

As a part of its thorough site selection process, the Company is considering a location adjacent to an existing elevator in this central-Ohio community. The elevator is owned by Country Star Co-op, a locally owned grain marketing and farm supply cooperative with 460 members, serving Crawford and surrounding counties.

"We are in the preliminary stages of this project and this location is among several under consideration by the Company," explains Neill McKinstray, Vice President & General Manager for Ethanol.
